Creative Materials: Independent Project
Directions: Look around your house and gather materials that you could use for your project. Think about what you could use as a surface and what could be the material that you use to apply to the surface. When thinking about this material, it is best if it has the ability to be dark. If you were using smashed fruit loops for example, the yellow could be a value 2, the purple a value 3, but what would be your value 5? Maybe you would put food dye on it to darken it to a value 5, let it dry and then smash it. Below is a small list of surfaces and materials to get you thinking. You will be graded on your creativity, effort, along with how successful you were with the project so aim for quality and use reference photos.
