Step 2:
- Photograph someone with good lighting with the expression that tells the story
- Draw or paint it onto the surface of your texture
Step 2: Synthesis of Ideas
After choosing your material for your texture write and answer the following in your sketchbook:
- What is your message that you are trying to communicate to the viewer?
- How does the texture relate to this message?
- What will your reference photo be of? Describe or sketch the pose you will be using. How does it relate to the message?
Step 3: Gather Resources
- Take and submit a reference photo for the project in google classroom. Make sure you have purposeful lighting, good pixel quality, and a good composition. Only crop the image into normal shaped rectangles and not skinny rectangles or squares. When I print, it will crop your photo in places where you don't want it cropped.
- Gather all supplies you will need for the project. Example, stickie notes, leaves, or whatever you are using for the expressive texture.
Step 4: Measure and Plot image or Apply Texture
- Either start drawing or applying the texture- whatever makes sense to do first for your project
